The Birdhouse Auction at Savoury’s Was a Resounding Success!

Habitat for Humanity of Mariposa County brought in an unexpected bounty on Wednesday, March 16. No wonder! Mirriam Platto’s restaurant, Savoury’s, was the perfect venue. And it wasn’t just artisan birdhouses that went on the block. Attendees bid on decorations for birdhouses, birdfeeders, and truly impressive garden art (patio furniture for birds?). Add good wine, good  company and good music, to create a memorable evening. HFH of MC made more than expected, thanks to everyone who participated. A very special thank-you goes to Mirriam for the use of her lovely space and gracious staff.
